The Village Hall

This was built as the village school in 1869, with the clock tower being added after a fund-raising campaign in 1874. What is now the porch was once the roof of a drinking fountain, which supplied a perpetual stream of water for the village.

With various additions and improvements, the building has served as the Village Hall since the 1970s. For more details, see the web page.
The village hall also plays host to the post office, while the Village Stores can be found at the rear of the hall.
