10th12:00CHOLSEY VILLAGE SHOW, Noon til 5.30pm. Whitehead Meadow (car access via Station Road). Horticultural, craft and photo exhibits;Punch & Judy/Magic Show, Fun Dog Show, and the Cholsey Silver Band; meet Luís Owls and the Island Farm Donkeys; children's "have a go" games; bumper raffle; charity/trade stalls, and on-site boot sale. BBQ, bar, afternoon tea cafe and ice creams. At the end of the afternoon there's an auction of produce etc from the Show.

If you would like to enter something in the show, schedules and entry forms are now available in the village from the HortSoc Store/Station Road allotments (open Saturday mornings), the Community Library, Park Butchers, and online at, or contact us (see below).

13th6.00pmWI Bring and share supper

Wallingford Museum "Mystery Day".  Have you ever wondered how things used to work? This is your chance to try writing in hieroglyphics, spinning wool, making a magnetic compass and other simple experiments and games. Just drop into the Museum any time between 11am and 4pm to have some fun experimenting!

Entry is by Museum ticket at the door - £5 per adult (which gives unlimited entry until 30 November) but accompanied children are FREE.

Coffee link-up at Root One. Come for coffee, chat and maybe a cake, someone will always be there.
