WI August Celebration.
18th11am - 4pmWallingford Museum Special Castle Day. Besides displays about the castle and the research that has been done, we shall be asking people to help build a model of Wallingford Castle during the day! There will also be other ‘hands-on’ activities for children and adults alike, providing a great opportunity for a family day out with a difference. Adults £5 (which gives unlimited entry until 30 November), accompanied children are FREE.
20th10am - 12noonLink-up Coffee Morning at Root One Garden Centre, High Road, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. If you are on your own or feel like some company, drop in for a chat. This is a regular monthly coffee morning, on the third Monday of each month, organised by the WI. Someone will always be there.
25th10:00amScything at the Community Orchard.  We will be scything the orchard this Saturday 25th August from 10.00-10.30. Bring along a scythe if you have one or have a go with a traditional wooden Austrian scythe.

You can mow, rake, bale and cart as well. Bring a picnic and enjoy the weather as we reveal the trees in all their glory.
