Wallingford Historical and Archaeological Society (TWHAS).  Richard Oram, Planning Archaeologist at Oxfordshire County Council, will talk about the 'Recent archaeological discoveries in Wallingford and its environs'.St Mary’s Church, Wallingford. Visitors (£4) are most welcome.

Link-up Coffee Morning at Root One Garden Centre, High Road, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. If you are on your own or feel like some company, drop in for a chat. This is a regular monthly coffee morning, on the third Monday of each month, organised by the WI. Someone will always be there.

28th11:00amCholsey Repair Cafe. Cholsey Pavilion, Station Road. 11:00 - 14:00. Volunteers who are good with their hands advise and help local folks who have faulty or broken domestic items. So far they have been able to fix blunt tools, electrical equipment (including safety testing), clothes, things needing gluing, computers, bicycles, furniture, musical instruments, picture frames and all manner of unexpected items like toys and cufflinks.
28th 11am-4pmFamily Archaeology Day at Wallingford Museum. Find the Roman skeleton, handle the cannon ball, make your own pots, search the 'smelly-feely' drawers, plenty for all the family.  And from June the museum will be open additionally on Sunday afteroons (2-5pm). £5 season ticket for adults and free entry for accompanied children.
