The annual Save the Children plant sale will take place in the Square this Saturday 16th May from 10 am to 12 noon. All proceeds will go to disaster relief in Nepal.

'Save the Children has been working in Nepal for over 40 years therefore has got a great deal of experience of working with the people and knowledge of the country,' says Celia Collett.

'You may have heard one of Save the Children Doctors talking about the work they are doing with expectant mothers on "Woman's Hour" on Radio 4. One can only imagine the difficulties around having a baby in such circumstances and having to cope with the trauma your other children and family members are suffering.'

You are invited to bring plants from your garden, as well as buy from the stall.
