ALLSORTS MEMORIES

Allsorts Preschool is 40 this year - and as part of the celebrations they are trying to raise 20,000 to create a new garden  to meet Ofsted guidelines and compete with other local preschools.

They are also appealing for your memories. Did your children go to the preschool? Are you a former pupil? Or have you worked there?  Email  memories you would like to share to allsortsmemories@gmx.com. The results will be put on a special memory bank on this website. Go to Community Life, then schools, and follow the links.

As a registered charity with just 30 sets of parents to ask for funds, fund-raising for the new garden has been tough going. A letter in the current issue of The Villager explains all about plans for the future as well as how to donate. A midsummer garden party will be held on June 20th, with tickets available from the shop and pub in May. All the details are available at http://www.allsortspreschool.org/40-years-of-allsorts.html
