If you visit Waitrose during January, the Parish Council would like you to put your green token in the BCS defibrillator box. Every month, the store offers three local projects the chance to boost their funds, and the more tokens are in each box, the better the chances are.

The Parish Council are purchasing 3 defibrillators to place around the parish: one at Shillingford Hill, one in the phone box on the High Road at the Greenmere entrance and the third at a site to be decided, possibly at the Village Hall, the Red Lion or the Rec. The Council is giving funds to purchase these devices and generous donations have come from a number of villagers, the Bach Centre, the Plymouth Brethren, Route One, the Fairthorne Trust and other sources.
