Less than two years after consultations on a 15-year plan to help SODC cater for housing need, residents are being asked to help the council think again. New figures claim up to 6,000 more houses are needed  than are already planned for and this may mean the council has to tear up its core strategy.

Current estimates suggest up to 16,500 new homes should be built in South Oxfordshire and the council needs to test the extent to which this need can be met. They have launched a public consultation, with a deadline of 23 July 2014.
