Do you have strong views on what kind of houses should be built on the edge of Wallingford and what the new development should be called? If so, make a date in your diary for a public meeting at Wallingford Town Hall on Friday June 6, at 7.30 pm.

The meeting which will follow the AGM of Sustainable Wallingford aims to make sure that the new houses will not just be another anonymous estate, but will be energy efficient and good to live in. Members of BCS Parish Council will be there, to put forward their views about the naming of the development. The widely used Slade End Farm, they say, is misleading.

All are welcome at the meeting; and if you are a  paid-up member of Sustainable Wallingford - or would like to become one - their AGM starts at 6.30.
