If you go to the Church Room between 10 am and 12.30 on Saturday 16 November, you will have a chance to support an African refugee camp – and win a blanket at the same time.

Janice Chilton writtes: 'The blanket has been knitted in one piece, with each row having just 10 stitches. It will be raffled but with a difference. It takes 34 rows to go round each corner; the number of rows has been carefully counted - all you have to do to walk off with the blanket is to pay your money and guess how many rows it took!

'While you’re doing the maths enjoy a coffee and some cake. All proceeds from the coffee morning will go to the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya, a project which St Agatha’s is supporting this year.'
