A TALE OF DOG'S TAILS

A TALE OF DOG'S TAILS

Brightwell's dogs and their owners on the BBC2 show, The Wonder of Dogs, clearly captivated a viewer from Fareham. He sent the Parish Council a poetic tribute to the series and a stamped addressed envelope for reply!

Wordsmith Jim Sanger duly sharpened his quill and sent the following lines:

'Brightwell dogs loved your poem.
You're right. You can't fail
To please every viewer
With a tale of dogs' tails.'

The three-part series was largely filmed in Brightwell. The final episode featured several local dog owners and their dogs including labradoodles Murphy and Digby in Chris Baines's picture here.
