In the interests of public safety it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close roads and/or impose other traffic restrictions as detailed on the attached spreadsheet (click here to view/download spreadsheet), in order to facilitate this year’s surface dressing programme.

Temporary Notices are being made to implement the temporary closures and other restrictions and will operate on the days shown on the spreadsheet, although these dates are subject to possible change without prior notice.

Please be aware that these works are part of a countywide surface dressing programme which is taking place throughout June.  As this is a rolling programme, any adverse weather experienced during this period of time could cause a delay to the programme and therefore, cause the advertised dates for the work to be altered.  Please refer to temporary signs erected at each location for details.

Limited access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and also for those properties within the closure areas, subject to the progress of the works.  Please note that access routes will depend on exactly where the works vehicles are at any time and may need to be negotiated with the gang on site as necessary.

A copy of the drawing showing the extent of the closures / restrictions can be viewed/downloaded here

Further information regarding the works may be obtained by contacting Stephen Hughes, OCC Highways & Transport on 0845 310 11 11
