A free Bible and lunch event will be held at Brightwell Gospel Hall for the second time, on Saturday 27 May between 12.30 and 1.30 pm. All are welcome, although no pets and dogs are permitted except guide dogs.

The event is organised by members of the Plymouth Brethren, who built the hall on the High Road on the site of the former Style Acre residential home in 2004.

Brethren spokeswoman, Loren Robertson, said: "This event is for the sole purpose of distributing Christian Bibles and other literature. There is nothing to pay and nothing to sign. There will not be a church service."

All expenses of the lunch will be covered by the Lime Walk Gospel Hall Trust. To find out more, email
