AFRICAN BISHOP COMES TO BRIGHTWELL

AFRICAN BISHOP COMES TO BRIGHTWELL

On Sunday 3rd March Bishop Anthony Poggo, Anglican Bishop of Kajo-keji in South Sudan, will be speaking at the 9.30 am service in St.Agatha's Church.

Kajo-keji is a city in Equatoria, close to Juba the capital, and home to the Kuku people. South Sudan is a country in transition both in terms of climate, lying as it does just to the south of the semi-arid Sahel region, and politically.

If 9.30 on a Sunday morning is too early for you, you are warmly invited to meet the Bishop over tea and cakes after the service at 10.45 am in the new Church Room.

All are welcome to hear how despite challenges faith can be the glue which can hold the various communities together.
