St Agatha's Church Room has now officially been opened, after many months of fund-raising. Olive Sutcliffe cut a huge red ribbon, and the Barber Shop singers reprised their church loo song. After this, numerous teddy bears and other furry animals made their parachute descents from the church tower.

The room offers a light-filled space for meetings and social gatherings, with loos and a small kitchen. The monthly Sunday School led by Guy Peach made good use of the new facilities at Harvest Festival on the morning following the official opening.
