Our Jubilee 'In the Frame' candidate is Brightwell resident and sculptor Bruce Gordon, who has sculpted for Rolls Royce, Brad Pitt and the Queen.

Bruce's specially commissioned greyhound sculpture was used in Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Richmond Park. Follow this link to the interview with Jennie Walmsley pwpcontrol.php?pwpID=7221

Earlier this year, Bruce was given a rare piece of wood from a felled holly tree at Holly Lodge, Richmond, and asked to carve a replica of "The White Greyhound of Richmond", one of the heraldic beasts. The finished result was placed on top of a maypole, and Bruce met Her Majesty as part of official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of her accession.

Bruce says, "Making this piece is a great honour and will hopefully mean my work will be preserved for history".
