Wallingford Museum produces new exhibitions each year – and 2012 will see 'Royalty in Wallingford' to coincide with the Queen's Jubilee, together with displays celebrating local Olympic connections in the past and present.

The 'Christie to Causton - Murder and Mayhem in Wallingford' display will continue to expand as more local material is discovered.

Judy Dewey (Museum curator) would be very pleased to hear from any residents who have local memorabilia, photographs, or memories related to previous royal events, such as the Queen's visit in 1956, or the 1937 coronation of George VI, or the Silver Jubilee of George V in 1935, etc. Please contact Judy on 01491 651127.

Space constraints mean ‘Digs and Discoveries: the Findings of the Wallingford Burh to Borough Project’ will be closed for the 2012 season.
