SING! SING! SING!

SING! SING! SING!

For those who love singing, here are some great opportunities to take part – or to come and listen.

Cranford Choral Society is singing Benjamin Britten’s Saint Nicolas and Haydn’s Te Deum on Saturday 26 January at 7.30 in St Mary’s Church, Cholsey. Tickets available from Anthony Finn (835540).

Following that we will be rehearsing the wonderfully popular Fauré’s Requiem, Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine and Gounod’s St Cecilia Mass for a concert in June. If you would like to sing with us, please call Anthony Finn on 835540.

OR FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT…

Cat's Chorus is an a cappella choir who meet every Monday night in Crowmarsh. We sing a variety of popular styles including Pop, Jazz, Latin, Blues, Folk, Traditional and Show Tunes. We provide a fun, supportive yet hard-working environment for lapsed singers to rediscover the joys of singing or for existing singers to take on a new challenge. We're holding an Open Evening for anyone who'd like to give us a go. Monday 4th February at 6:30pm at Crowmarsh Pavilion, OX10 8ED. The event is FREE, although pre-registration is required.
