An evening of wine tasting and gourmet food at the Jubilee Pavilion raised over 1,300 for Brightwell Supporting Refugees, helping the charity to pay two teacher's salaries for a year.

Caroline Oakley cooked a French three course dinner, and Anthony Sykes presented a range of fine wines for diners to taste. With this money, and also money from recent donations, BSR will be funding two teachers at Hope School near Amman, Jordan for a year.
