People aged over 60 living in rural areas can claim a month's swimming sessions for just 5. And starting at the end of March in Brightwell, there are three new courses specially tailored for this age group at the Village Hall: Nordic walking (six free sessions on Wednesday mornings, starting on March 22); Senior Circuits (from Thursday, 30 March, 12.15 to 1.15 pm, 4 a session) and Yoga - with seated as an option - (from Friday 31st March, 12.15 to 1.15 pm, 5 a session).

GO Active Gold is also offering swimming vouchers to use at district council leisure centres from 1 April to 31 May. Residents can sign up for the offer by visiting or by calling 01235 422240. To claim this offer you must register by Saturday 1 April.

The leisure centres where the offer can be used are:

  • Didcot Wave
  • Faringdon Leisure Centre
  • Henley Leisure Centre
  • Thame Leisure Centre
