MACKNEY LANE PLANS - YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE A SAY

Plans to build four houses in a field opposite the entrance to the rec are up for consultation. Comments should be with SODC by March 22nd.  This land is not scheduled for building in the proposed neighbourhood plan, which aims to preserve Mackney's separate identity as a settlement. Objectors also cite the dangers of increased traffic particularly for children entering and leaving the rec and the need to preserve views across open countryside.

The appication reference is P17/S0343/O, and you can comment by following this link http://www.southoxon.gov.uk/ccm/support/Main.jsp?MODULE=ApplicationDetails&REF=P17%2FS0343%2FO

Consultation has now closed on application reference P17/S0164/O for Little Martins Field (land east of Waterman's Lane,). This site is in the proposed Neighbourhood Plan.
